Parents, staff and families enjoyed a lovely Christmas show at Castle Douglas Nursery — and the children put on a great performance for their audience.
They sang a variety Christmas songs including a Christmas Tree, Five Little Snowmen, Wise Men, Rocky Robin, Santa Shark and many more. Every child dressed up to play a part in one of the songs ranging from Christmas trees, angels, snowmen to elves.
The show ended with a medley of festive cheer where the parents and children in the audience were asked to join in with When Santa Got Stuck up the Chimney, Jingle Bells and — of course — We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
Nursery manager Michelle McBurnie said: “And the children practiced really hard.
“We were sure they would play their parts beautifully — and they did.”
