Casting now open for RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series four

Mama Ru herself has announced that casting for series four of RuPaul's Drag Race is now open.

As the unmissable series three of RuPaul’s Drag Race continues to entertain BBC iPlayer viewers every Thursday, the 60-year-old drag supermodel of the world has invited the newest set of queens to audition for the show.

Winners of the UK series have included shining star of Merseyside, The Vivienne, who was crowned in 2019, as well as the current reigning champ, the real Queen of Scots, Lawrence Chaney.

Judges Ru and Michelle Visage, as well as a host of special guests, will also be returning to our screen's next year to critique the new line-up of hopefuls.

Those who believe they've got what it takes to become the UK's next Drag Race Superstar should register their interest in the show on the website before 10 November 2021.

In other Drag Race news, following the huge success of the first Canadian series, BBC Three has acquired series two of Canada’s Drag Race American production company World of Wonder, and is set to bring it home to BBC iPlayer later this year.

According to a statement released today by the BBC, the ten-part boxset of series two will be dropped this December, as well as a unique anniversary episode featuring Canada’s First Drag Superstar, Priyanka.

30-year-old Priyanka will be reminiscing on all of her fond and funniest memories of the first series of the show.

Series two will welcome 12 brand-new Canadian drag artists who will battle it out for the title of Canada’s Next Drag Superstar, with each weekly ep testing their talents and tricks as they attempt to master the arts of singing, dancing, acting, designing and impersonation.
