An open casting call has been put out for a number of people to star in a new short film being shot in Paisley and Glasgow in November.
The short film, which has a working title of 'Taxi Driver', follows the life of a female taxi driver in Paisley over a span of 30 years "where time is not playing by the rules".
And among the people being sought to star in the film, they are looking for people with broad Glaswegian accents, 'loud and unabashed' characters and a bearded and handsome man in his 20s.
Those involved in the production are looking to fill the following (paid) roles:
The Crone - Woman in her 50s or 60s. West of Scotland/Glasgow accent.
Passenger 1 - A man in his 20s of Irish extraction. Speaks with a distinctive Glaswegians accent.
Passenger 1 (older) - Man in his 50s and 60s. Glaswegian.
Woman (partner of passenger 1) - Woman in her 50s.
Passenger 2 - A man in his 30s, 40s or 50s.
Grandmother - Attractive, handsome woman in her late 50s. Loud and unabashed.
Mum - Woman, 45 years old. As loud and unabashed as her mother.
Son - Man in his late 20s, bearded and handsome.
Children - Two little ones aged nine or 10 years old. Must not be shy.
Puppy - Producers looking to cast a trained puppy.
The short film aims to shoot in the first two weeks of November, and it is anticipated that the majority of cast will be needed for no more than one day of filming.
