An Emmy award-winning casting agency is on the lookout for a sullen teenage boy and streetwise girl for a film in Belfast.
Carla Stronge Casting put out calls for two roles for the feature film about a family which will shoot in Northern Ireland in November and December this year.
They are looking for a girl aged 9-11, based in Northern Ireland, for a significant role in the production and no experience is required.
In their call, the agency said: "We are not looking for 'performers'. We are looking for a girl who is a bit of a tomboy and unperturbed by others. She is streetwise. Not posh/ middle class. She should feel calm and serene in her otherness and be observant with a quiet intensity.
"Parent/s must also be prepared to go on a journey with the filmmakers over the filming period for approx 4 weeks across the end of November and December this year. This will be paid work and filming will take place in and around Belfast."
They are also looking for a boy aged 13-15, based in Northern Ireland, for a role in the film .
They are looking for a boy who is "both a sullen teenager but also is sensitive and protective". He is also physical and good at sport.
