Cash crop policy a recipe for floods

Like several cities in Thailand, Nan, an increasingly popular tourist town in the northern region, has been devastated by floods since July.

But the floods in Nan are different from other flood-hit areas. In my opinion, the ongoing inundation is not just the straightforward outcome of rain.
