Cash, cigarettes and alcohol stolen in knifepoint shop robbery

Cash, cigarettes and alcohol were stolen in a knifepoint robbery at a shop in Carrington.

Police were called to Carrington Stores, Hucknall Road, just before 4.45pm on Sunday (November 24).

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: "It was reported that two people entered the store with their faces covered and one of them threatened a member of staff with a knife.

"Cash, cigarettes and alcohol were stolen in the incident."

Anyone with information which may help the investigation is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 613 of November 24.
