Case Keenum was in an interesting top-10 category after Week 1

Case Keenum ranks among some interesting names at the quarterback position coming out of his Washington Redskins’ Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The veteran had a solid game against the Eagles in his debut, throwing for 380 yards and three touchdowns while completing nearly 70 percent of his passes.

Above, NFL Matchup from ESPN showcased something else worth noting — Keenum was top 10 in yards per dropback, which takes into account scrambles and yardage lost on sacks.

Keenum only took one sack on the day and didn’t attempt a rush while gunning for his big outburst. And this is exactly what the Redskins want to see from the veteran within a spread-it-around attack.

Names like Tom Brady and unknowns like Gardner Minshew were able to rank in the top 10 here, which generally speaks to how quickly a passer was able to get rid of the ball, neutralizing the pass-rushing while making good decisions.
