Case Keenum says it’s ‘not my job to judge’ how Dwayne Haskins is doing

Media members and Washington Redskins fans alike have been clamoring all spring to see Dwayne Haskins work. How is he doing, how does he look, is he everything we hoped for?

The Redskins’ other new quarterback—Case Keenum—has gotten a front row seat to the Dwayne Haskins show over the first few weeks of offseason workouts, but that doesn’t mean he is going to tell us how the rookie is coming along.

“It’s not my job to judge how he’s doing,” Keenum said about Haskins, via Redskins.com. “I judge myself and, like I said, I’m very hard on myself to do good things but I think there’s still a lot of room to improve.”

Classic media answer—expect nothing less from a veteran QB.

Keenum’s ignorance of Haskins growth is to be expected. As a journeyman QB who is looking to find a home rather than continue bouncing around the league, he must focus on himself, and himself only.

We will all have to wait until Training Camp to really get a sense of how Haskins is doing.
