Case Keenum offers up an unintentionally risque and hilarious quote

Because everyone in the Cleveland Browns nation needs a reason to smile a little amidst all the chaos…

Browns quarterback Case Keenum, who is prepping this week to start for the team in place of Baker Mayfield, offered up an unintentionally cheeky soundbite on Wednesday. Keenum is getting the first-team nod while Mayfield is idled on the reserve/COVID-19 list, one of 15 Browns players from the 53-man roster who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last few days.

When asked about the team getting running back Nick Chubb back to full strength, Keenum had this subtly risque response,

“Having a full Chubb back there is going to be really good.”

Chubb is fifth in the NFL in rushing yards despite missing three full games with injuries. He’s managed just 75 rushing yards on 25 carries in the last two Browns games while continuing to deal with a calf injury, but he’s better now. And Keenum, for one, is very happy about that.
