Case Keenum is a fan of the short turnaround for a Thursday game

Case Keenum isn’t worried about something that gets hyped up when it comes to Thursday night games.

For the Washington Redskins quarterback, the short turnaround for a game on Thursday is actually a good thing.

According to Ryan Fowler of the team’s official site, Keenum said all he has to do on a quick turnaround is “trust your eyes, trust your feet, let’s go play.”

He added: “You don’t overthink it. You just go out and play,” according to 106.7 The Fan’s Craig Hoffman.

Keenum has thrown for only two touchdowns over his past three outings, so it has to be nice for Redskins fans to hear he’s feeling confident despite the quick turnaround.

And adding to the intrigue, Keenum also has to go against the team with which he put up the best year of his career.

If nothing else in what is shaping up to be a lost season where quarterback questions will only intensify as the year progresses, it should be interesting to look at Keenum’s comments in hindsight and see how he did.
