According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Washington Redskins quarterback Case Keenum did not practice on Wednesday due to a foot injury that he suffered earlier in the week.
This is the first word of the injury being leaked to the media, so there are not many words on the severity, nor when the injury was suffered.
Keenum had his worst game of the season on Monday night in a loss to the Chicago Bears, and he turned the ball over five times after committing zero turnovers in the prior two games. Many fans in Washington are calling for Keenum to be benched, but it could end up that an injury is more likely to hold him out than the coaching staff at this point.
