Steven Gerrard Academy has closed a case into alleged misconduct by a member of staff, stating an investigation had found the accusation was "untrue and unfounded".
The ECHO understands a male student made an allegation of inappropriate behaviour by an employee.
Complaints were made to the academy, Liverpool County Football Association (LCFA), Liverpool Council's Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) and Merseyside Police.
However a spokesman for the academy today said: "Steven Gerrard Academy can confirm that following an exhaustive investigation into an allegation which was reported recently in the Liverpool Echo, that claim has been shown to be untrue and unfounded.
"Having worked closely with the Liverpool Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO), Merseyside Police, Merseyside County FA and the Football Association, we are satisfied by this outcome and are also willing to restate our commitment to treat all such allegations with the seriousness that they deserve.
"While this particular matter is now closed, we are further satisfied that the internal mechanisms and processes we have in place in relation to safeguarding in particular, have demonstrated both their importance and their robustness."
Merseyside Police stated their investigation was also closed, with "no crimes having been identified".
A spokesman said: "Following a third party allegation of inappropriate behaviour in the Liverpool area, we have concluded our investigation.
"We take all reports of such behaviour extremely seriously and, with partner agencies, conducted enquires alongside the Local Authority Designated Officer for Allegations (LADO).
"No crimes were identified and the investigation is closed pending any evidence coming to light."
The academy, which started life as Liverpool Football College, provides sports qualifications for students aged between 16 and 19.
It took the name of the Liverpool FC legend last year after partnering with sports education provider LLS.
Mr Gerrard does not have a day-to-day role in the running of the academy.
Liverpool Council also confirmed its LADO had concluded their investigation.
Steven Gerrard Academy, based at Wyncote Sports Ground, Mossley Hill, did not confirm whether or not the staff member is still working at the organisation.
