It was a productive weekend for some of Nottingham Forest’s players out on loan.
From youngsters looking for more game time to senior pros who had fallen out of favour, the Reds have a number of players currently plying their trade for other clubs.
Some made the move in the summer and others headed elsewhere in the January transfer window.
We have taken a look at how they are all getting on.
Will Swan
The 20-year-old bagged his first ever league goal on Saturday as he came off the bench to find the back of the net for Port Vale.
It wasn’t enough to clinch a result as the League Two side fell to a 3-2 defeat away to Cheltenham Town, but the striker was delighted to get on the scoresheet.
“It’s a massive achievement for me, personally,” he told the club.
“It’s disappointing not to come away with the win as well, but I’ll hopefully get some more goals in the next few games - and get some more wins with them as well.
“I just want to get as much experience and game time as I can; get as many goals as I can and learn as much as I can from playing with the lads and from the gaffer.”
That was Swan’s fourth appearance for Vale since he made the move in January, with three of those coming from off the bench.
Brennan Johnson
The 19-year-old continued what has been a very good campaign for him at Lincoln City at the weekend, claiming his eighth goal.
He struck in style, too.
Johnson’s performance was rated 9/10 by our colleagues at LincolnshireLive, who said: “Was already a worthy man of the match contender before his goal, which was a cracker. Deployed down the right, ran the Crewe defence ragged and did some good work defensively too.”
He has featured 35 times for the Imps, being regularly named in the starting line-up as they challenge for promotion to the Championship.

Joao Carvalho
It’s been something of a mixed bag for the Portuguese at Spanish second division side Almeria.
He’s played 24 times since his summer switch, with nine of his appearances coming as a substitute, and has yet to find the back of the net.
The midfielder has been out of the starting line-up in the last few games and remained on the bench as his team beat Girona on Sunday.
Last week, the website La Voz de Almeria wrote an article with the headline: “Where is Joao Carvalho?”
They say he has not been playing badly, but added: “The Almería player has enormous talent, but it seems that he is being the victim of the famous rotations of the Portuguese José Gomes (the manager) in the Almeria team.”
Nicholas Ioannou
The left-back headed to Greek side Aris Thessaloniki in the winter window.
He has made five appearances and found the back of the net soon after he joined, scoring the winner in a 1-0 victory over Apollon Smyrni.
The Cypriot hasn’t played since the end of January, being an unused substitute in recent fixtures.
Jordan Gabriel
The right-back has recently had a solid run in the team for Blackpool and been in good form.
However, he found himself on the bench for last weekend’s draw at home to AFC Wimbledon.
Gabriel has made 20 appearances for the Seasiders and got on the scoresheet in an FA Cup victory over Harrogate in November.
He has spoken about how his loan spell at Bloomfield Road is helping him to develop.
Nuno Da Costa
The forward has been getting a fair bit of game time during his season-long stint with Royal Excel Mouscron.
He made a good start to his loan spell, bagging five goals in his first nine appearances. But it seems he has suffered a drop in form since then.
The website Le Soir recently described how he is “lacking confidence” and “no longer manages to create opportunities”.
He has made 22 appearances in total, with all but one of those in the starting XI.
Jordan Wright
The young goalkeeper joined Alloa Athletic in January but has yet to make his debut, although he has been back-up stopper on the bench.

Tyrese Fornah
The 21-year-old has been picking up plenty of experience at Plymouth Argyle, with 34 appearances to his name.
Often used in a midfield holding role, he has generally been doing well, even if some of his performances have sometimes gone under the radar.
“When I have played I have not really felt like I have got the appreciation that I should,” he said last month. “If you ask any of my team-mates, they know how good I am. I don’t want praise, I just want to do the job for the team and get the win.
“If anyone knows me as a person, that’s all I care about. If people want to criticise me, or do whatever, that’s up to them.
“I don’t look at that. I just look at the team winning, and that’s the main thing. The team winning speaks for itself, my football speaks for itself.”
Marcus McGuane
The midfielder had been on loan at Oxford United, but his season came to an early end last month due to a thigh injury.
He is expected to be sidelined for about 12 weeks.
McGuane made 21 appearances for the League One club and said: “Gutted to be out for the rest of the season with my injury. Have loved every moment representing this club.”
Jayden Richardson
After a good spell at Exeter last term, the 20-year-old has continued his progress at Forest Green Rovers.
Richardson has made 24 appearances this season, with all but nine coming as part of the starting XI.
