Cartoon and art family day - Saturday 10 October, Kings Place, London N1

Supported by cartoonists, artists, illustrators and designers, the day is an opportunity to take part in a range of drawing, cartooning and craft activities and workshops.

All sessions are designed for all ages and abilities and your family will be able to:

- take part in a whole range of art and creative activities.
- design cartoons, caricatures and cartoon strips.
- learn new drawing techniques and tips.
- make some crafty creations.
- participate in a drawing activities inspired by live classical music.
- listen to talks by professional cartoonists, artists and illustrators.

Each session runs for two hours. The morning session starts at 10.30 and runs until 12.30pm. The afternoon session starts at 2pm and runs until 4pm.

I loved it this year. The penguins, mosaics and newspaper front page were our favourites. We had a fantastic day as we did last year. See you next year.

We think it was structured well – lots of tables facilitated and things available to try in a relaxed way.
