Most of Barcelona's first-team players may be on international duty this week, but there is one match taking place while they are away.
The Spanish champions face Segunda B side FC Cartagena in a friendly on Wednesday evening and coach Ernesto Valverde has picked a 22-man squad for the game at the Estadio Cartagonova.
While Barca currently lead La Liga, Cartagena are top of the Segunda B (Group IV). The winners of each Segunda B sector will have the chance to be promoted to Spain's second tier at the end of the season.
Why is the friendly fixture being played?
Barcelona's game against Cartagena is being played to raise funds for the victims of the serious flooding that hit the region of Murcia in September of this year.
A year’s worth of rain fell in just 24 hours causing devastation to farmland in the region, the loss of homes and several fatalities.
Who is taking part?
With most of Barcelona's big names away on international duty, the 22-man squad is mostly made up of young players.
Gerard Pique, who has retired from Spain duty, Ousmane Dembele, Sergi Roberto, Junior Firpo, Carles Alena and Riqui Puig will be the main attractions, while a number of lesser-known talents will also have a chance to shine.
