Carson Wentz, Ronnie Stanley among players coming to Chicago for NFL draft

April 13--The NFL draft is now barely two weeks away, with a full week of festivities again planned in downtown Chicago.

On Tuesday evening, the league unveiled its list of 25 college prospects who will attend the draft and many of its peripheral events. The NFL also revealed a list of a dozen coaches who will be on hand when the draft officially begins on the night of April 28 at the Auditorium Theatre at Roosevelt University.

In all, five Ohio State Buckeyes -- Joey Bosa, Ezekiel Elliott, Eli Apple, Taylor Decker and Aaron Lee -- will be on hand. Their college coach Urban Meyer will be there too.

Other players attending the draft and expected to be selected in the first two rounds are Ole Miss left tackle Laremy Tunsil, North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz, Cal quarterback Jared Goff, Florida State cornerback Jalen Ramsey, Florida cornerback Vernon Hargreaves, UCLA linebacker Myles Jack, Clemson pass rushers Shaw Lawson and Kevin Dodd, Michigan State offensive tackle Jack Conklin, Notre Dame offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, Ole Miss receiver Laquon Treadwell, Louisiana Tech defensive tackle Vernon Butler, Baylor receiver Corey Coleman, TCU receiver Josh Doctson, Florida safety Keanu Neal, Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche, Alabama defensive lineman Jarran Reed and A'Shawn Robinson and linebacker Reggie Ragland and Mississippi State defensive tackle Chris Jones.

In addition to Meyer, coaches attending the event include Notre Dame's Brian Kelly, Michigan State's Mark Dantonio, Baylor's Art Briles, Alabama's Nick Saban, Clemson's Dabo Swinney, Florida State's Jimbo Fisher, Cal's Sonny Dykes, Ole Miss's Hugh Freeze, UCLA's Jim Mora, TCU's Gary Patterson and North Dakota State's Chris Kileman.

The draft's first night will begin at 7 p.m. on April 28 with the Tennessee Titans owning the top overall pick. The Chicago Bears own the No. 11 selection in the first round.
