Carson Wentz reemerges on Twitter to support Rodney McLeod’s nomination for Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award

Carson Wentz hasn’t uttered a word on camera since being benched by Doug Pederson for the Eagles’ final four games of the regular season.

As the NFL world and Philadelphia speculates on whether Wentz wants to be traded and the Eagles prepare to introduce Nick Sirianni at a Friday press conference, the franchise quarterback made an appearance on social media.

No Wentz didn’t address the Eagles’ new coach or his future, choosing to unveil an ad for Nationwide, that offered support for teammate Rodney McLeod’s bid to win the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.

Considered the league’s most prestigious honor, the award recognizes an NFL player for outstanding community service activities off the field, as well as excellence on the field.
