Carson Wentz opens up about his relationship with Nick Foles

Carson Wentz and Nick Foles could be the worst of enemies and not a single person would be shocked after the sequence of events that saw one almost win an MVP before getting injured, while the other has a statue representing his Super Bowl glory. Wentz and Foles are far from being enemies, and if you let the Eagles star quarterback tell you, they’re brothers from another mother.

During his guest appearance on Angelo Cataldi’s Morning Show on 94WIP, Wentz was asked about allegations of being “selfish” and whether or not he’s injury prone. When asked about his relationship with Foles, Wentz opened up about how close the two men are.

“We’re great friends off of the field. I love everything he stands for, but to some extent, we’re different too. We see the game different and we kind of have different approaches to the game too.”

Angelo Cataldi, playing off the relationship and rumors of the Eagles possibly franchising Foles, joked about Nick possibly going to the Giants.

Wentz is clearly the Eagles’ franchise quarterback, and yet the comparisons to Nick Foles will likely never stop, not until Carson wins a Super Bowl at least. It’s cool that the two men can share a relationship under such duress.
