Since 1965, there have only been eight NFL running backs to record 725 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards as a rookie, with Miles Sanders joining that select group in 2019.
Miles and Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz had a dynamic chemistry in2019 and if you listen to his comments from Monday’s zoom meeting, expect the second year running back to get even more involved in the passing game.
Wentz went on to say that the second-year running back is primed for a big jump from Year 1 to Year 2 and that teams will likely utilize more zone coverage against the Eagles to help with Sanders in coverage.
