With the 13th pick of the 2010 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Brandon Graham, a defensive end out of Michigan. The rest is history, as Graham as gone on to become one of the franchise’s premier pass rushers all time, and not a bad investment. Andre Dillard was the Eagles final first-round draft pick of this decade, and with 2020 just around the corner, Touchdown Wire named the best first-round pick of the decade, for all 32 NFL teams.
Graham was a really good player, as well as Derek Barnett two years ago, but clearly, the best first-round pick of the teams’ history, could end up being the guy Howie Roseman traded up to select. Carson Wentz was selected with the second pick of the 2016 NFL draft and the rest is history.
Wentz recently signed the richest guaranteed contract in NFL and Eagles team history, so it would make sense that the teams’ franchise quarterback would be the best first-round pick in the last decade according to Barry Wener of Touchdown Wire.
Carson Wentz only needs to stay healthy to become one of the great quarterbacks in Eagles history. The second overall pick out of North Dakota in 2017 is a Super Bowl champ, with a key assist from Nick Foles. Wentz has thrown 70 TD passes against 28 picks.
Wentz beat out some pretty good company as well to get the honor.

Wentz has already begun his assault on the Eagles franchise records and he’s clearly one of the best signal callers in the NFL, with many around the league believing this is his MVP season.
