Carson Wentz lands at No. 1 on Daniel Jeremiah’s ranking of MVP candidates

The Philadelphia Eagles are loaded at offense and one of the NFL’s top analyst and former Birds scout believes all that talent will elevate their star quarterback to an MVP level. Jeremiah is highly respected around the league for his work on NFL Network and his ability to grade and judge talent from a scouts point of view.

Jeremiah recently tweeted out his top five MVP candidates in the NFL this season and as usual, the Eagles landed in the top two, with Carson Wentz getting the top spot.

If Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders can develop into a consistent duo, the Eagles could be extremely explosive on offense, thus allowing Wentz to flourish in the deep passing game.

Wentz has already begun his assault on the Eagles franchise records and he’s clearly one of the best signal-callers in the NFL, with many around the league believing this is his MVP season.
