Pro Football Focus’ Steve Palazzolo graded out the top quarterbacks in the NFL, who were accurate and pinpoint while progressing through their first, second and even third reads.
For all the talk about Wentz targeting a favorite receiver or holding onto the ball too long, he’s still one of the highest graded and more patient signal-callers in the league.
Wentz loves to push the ball down the field and the additions of DeSean Jackson and JJ Arcega-Whiteside will allow him to do that even more. With the bounty of weapons on the outside and formidable running backs who can become weapons out of the backfield, expect Wentz’s grade under pressure and while progressing through reads to be off the charts this season.
