Carson Palmer finishes ahead of Patrick Peterson, Larry Fitzgerald in golf tourney

Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson had a great start to the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament at Lake Tahoe over the weekend. After one round of play, he was in second place, only two points off the lead.

He did not keep up that pace as Tony Romo ended up winning the tournament for the second year in a row.

Retired Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer ended up ahead of Peterson. He finished with 44 points, tied for 12th place. Peterson finished in 18th place with 38 points. He had 22 after the first round. Romo, who won, finished with 71.

Fellow Cardinal Larry Fitzgerald finished behind Peterson tied for 34th place with 18 points.
