Two cars sped down a PAVEMENT forcing stunned pedestrians to dash to safety in a shocking chase along the streets of Liverpool.
This video of the pursuit shows two cars taking part in a chase, first along roads, but then onto a narrow pavement as the lead vehicle tries to race away.
It has been suggested the chase happened around the Walton, Anfield and Clubmoor areas of north Liverpool with the cars travelling down Richard Kelly Drive, Townsend Lane and Muirhead Avenue.
The pursuit begins on the road, at slow speeds, with the chasing vehicle at times accelerating up to the back of the Range Rover in front.
The man in the second car, recording the incident on a dash-cam type of device, can be heard uttering: "Have a smash, have a smash."

Moments later, he says, '****house, this kid.
"Where's he going?"
But suddenly the lead car speeds off, hurtling over speed bumps, overtaking a car on one sleeping policeman and almost crashing into a parked car.
The pursuing vehicle accelerates to catch up, as he replies: "Smokes me....he's got no chance."
Next, the car in front decides to turn onto the pavement and dangerously speeds away on the footpath.
Two people, who appear to be children, dodge back towards the wall to stay out of the way of the two cars, now moving fast on the pavement.
One man, further down the pavement, is also seen to skip quickly out of the way to avoid getting knocked down.

The driver in the second car then starts to shout: "Where you going fat boy?
"Where you going fat a***s?
"Fat c***, sh*******."
The ECHO has approached Merseyside Police for comment about the video and the incident, which is believed to have been taken in the middle of last week.
The chase and the footage prompted outrage from many who watched it.
One woman said: "What an idiot!

"I hope both drivers get done for dangerous driving, no point filming it when you're doin the same thing."
One man said: "Mad that, what if there were kids on that pavement....driving at a high speed.
"Could have taken a young child’s life - disgusting on both sides if you ask me."
Another woman added: Disgusting on both parties, imagine if there was a wheelchair user or someone with a pram?
"Or a child playing on pavement who couldn’t get out the way."
