Cars seized and three arrested on suspicion of using laser jammers to interfere with speed cameras

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of using laser jammers to interfere with speed cameras.

Five cars, which were suspected to have been fitted with the jammers, have also been seized.

In a statement, Dyfed-Powys Police said the force arrested a 62-year-old man and two women - aged 18 and 57 - on suspicion of committing an act with intent to pervert the course of justice.

The statement continued: "It is suspected they fitted laser jammers, which interfere with speed cameras, to five vehicles – a Mercedes, three VW Polos and a Vauxhall Astra – which have been seized.

"The three people, of Ynysforgan in Swansea , have been released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out."
