Emergency services are dealing with a serious car crash near Grangemouth this evening.
Mercy crews raced to the A9 outside Beancross Farm at around 7:10pm on Tuesday September, 28, following reports of a two-vehicle smash.
At least nine police vehicles, three fire engines and two ambulances along with specialist paramedics are currently at the scene.
One person is believed to have been seriously injured.
The road is currently closed in both directions and is expected to be closed for some time while the incident is dealt with.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Emergencies services are currently in attendance a crash involving two vehicles on the A9 Cadgers Brae roundabout near Polmont.
"Road closures are in place and motorists are asked to seek alternative routes."
