Cars left badly damaged after two vehicle smash on busy Scots road

Two cars have been left badly damaged following a road crash in Falkirk this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Grandsable Road, Polmont, shortly after 1pm following reports two vehicles had collided with each other.

A picture posted on social media shows one of the cars next to a wall at the junction with Polmont Road, while another is stationary in the road.

There have been no serious injuries as a result of the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.20pm on Tuesday, 5 October, officers were called to Polmont Road in Falkirk, following a report of a two-vehicle crash.

"There are no reports of serious injuries."
