Police in South Wirral seized drugs and two vehicles as part of a crackdown on local offenders.
Officers targeted crime in their neighbourhoods and utilised plain clothes tactics to tackle a range of offenders, including prolific shoplifters.
Two vehicles and an unspecified quantity of class B drugs were seized.
Merseyside Police Wirral said on Twitter on Monday night: “This evening officers from #Teambeb have been proactively targeting offenders in their given neighbourhood areas.
“In South Wirral we have used plain clothes tactics to our advantage seizing two vehicles, class B drugs and disrupting prolific shoplifting offenders.”
Possession of a class B drug carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison and an unlimited fine, while anyone convicted of being involved in the supply and production of class B drugs faces up to 14 years in prison.
