Irish boxing delegates voted unanimously for AGMs and EGMs to be held anywhere in Ireland - four weeks after voting down the motion.
That vote was part of a protest taken by IABA members against the board, a protest that also saw governance changes shot down and that ultimately led to the announcement last week that IABA CEO Fergal Carruth and chairperson Ciarán Kirwan are stepping down next month.
The motion to hold AGMs and EGMs across the island of Ireland was lost by 68 votes to 35 a month ago, when it needed 75% votes in favour to pass.

However a second EGM was called for last Saturday on the issue and this time 80 club delegates voted in favour of the motion, with none opposing.
In a statement, the IABA insisted the outcome will "go some way towards bridging the gulf which emerged between clubs in the wake of the July meeting."
Carruth reacted: "The result is very much to be welcomed, and it is the right decision in all respects.
"It must be acknowledged, however, that the July 10th vote created a deep sense of disquiet and distress.
"This will take some time to heal - a process which can begin this evening."
The IABA must still find a way of ending the internal civil war in the sport that has already seen 15% of core funding withdrawn by the government.
Four weeks remain of a two month deadline to produce a new governance plan that meets the approval of Sport Ireland and Ministers Catherine Martin and Jack Chambers.
Kirwan commented: "This decision by Ireland's boxing clubs ensures a unified way forward is possible and achievable.
"This decision shows the unity at the heart of Irish boxing, and the boxing family's ability to be progressive and forward-thinking."
