Carroll and Lazaro to start? The changes Newcastle fans would like to see against West Ham

Newcastle United fans would like to see Andy Carroll and Valentino Lazaro handed starts against West Ham.

The Magpies are unbeaten in the league since the restart, and host the relegation-threatened Hammers at St James' Park on Sunday afternoon.

Steve Bruce's side will be looking to complete the double, having earned a 3-2 victory at the London Stadium in November last year.

The United head coach rang the changes for Wednesday's emphatic 4-1 victory at Bournemouth, handing starts to the likes of Emil Krafth, Nabil Bentaleb and Sean Longstaff.

However, despite the midweek success in the 4-2-3-1 formation, United fans would like to see Bruce opt for a 4-4-2 at home to the Hammers.

The lineup unsurprisingly sees Martin Dubravka in goal, with the usual back four of Javi Manquillo, Jamaal Lascelles, Federico Fernandez and Danny Rose.

Supporters would like to see the midfield partnership of Jonjo Shelvey and Isaac Hayden restored, with Lazaro and in-form Allan Saint-Maximin providing the width.

Up front, fans would like to Carroll partnered with Dwight Gayle, with the pairing combining for a goal in their cameo appearances against Aston Villa.
