Carrickfinn Airport named world's most scenic airport for the second year in a row

An Irish airport has topped a prestigious list of scenic landings - for the second year running.

Carrickfinn Airport in Donegal scooped the spot on the poll by private jet booking service PrivateFly, beating off competition from busier strips in Toronto and New Zealand.

The poll ranked 129 airports, with thousands of public votes followed by a judging selection overseen by a panel of travel experts.

And the tiny airport - which is 45 minutes from Letterkenny - has only two routes operating.
