"NIAS despatched 4 Emergency crews, a Rapid Response Paramedic and an Ambulance Officer to the scene.

"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, two patients have been taken to RBHSC, two to RVH, one adult to Antrim Area Hospital and one child to Antrim Area Hospital - none with life threatening injuries.

"A number of patients were discharged at the scene. It is not anticipated that any others will require hospital attendance."

Speaking to Belfast Live, Stewart Dickson, Alliance MLA for East Antrim said: "Wish to express my concern at this breaking news hope that early indications are that injuries are not serious. I will be expecting a full investigation from the Health and Safety Agency and the local MEA Council."

A statement from Planet Fun read: "Important update. Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances, Planet Fun will be closed tonight for the 7.30-10.30pm session. All tickets will automatically be refunded. Further updates will follow."
