Carrick Rangers games postponed in line with NIFL Covid policy

Carrick Rangers' next two games in the Danske Bank Premiership have been postponed in line with the NI Football League's Covid Case policy.

The club confirmed that 14 players have been asked to self isolate by the Public Health Authority (PHA) after coming into "close proximity to several people" who have tested positive for coronavirus.

It means Carrick's games against Glenavon (tomorrow) and Coleraine (November 21) have both been postponed.

Carrick added that none of its players, staff and officials have presently tested positive or are showing any symptoms.

The club said in a statement: "Carrick Rangers have been advised by the Public Health Authority (PHA) that 14 players need to self-isolate due to the fact they were in close proximity to several people who have tested positive for COVID-19.

"Carrick Rangers can confirm that none of our players, staff and officials have presently tested positive or are showing any symptoms."
