Carriageway resurfacing will lead to closures of three Airdrie roads

Three Airdrie roads will be affected by closures this month, with a series of works due to be completed.

Carriageway resurfacing will see Meadowside Place shut for five days from Monday, June 14.

This will be from 100m east of its junction with Castle Road to 100 west of the same junction and there will be no diverted routes for motorists.

The town's Wester Moffat Crescent is shutting for five days, for carriageway resurfacing works, from June 21.

Again, there are no alternative roads available, and the closure will run between the B8058 Petersburn Road and its termination 140m east.

Finally, Maple Quadrant, from Hawthorn Drive and its termination 125m north-east, is closing for five days from June 22.

This is due to planned carriageway resurfacing and there won’t be any diversions.
