Carriageway patching will see village road close for five days next week

A Glenmavis road is shutting for five days next week to allow for the completion of carriageway patching works.

The village’s B802 Condorrat Road will close from Mollinsburn Road to Gain and Shankburn Road between October 6 and 10, with the latter two roads acting as alternative routes.

Woodside Street in Coatbridge will close for 12 hours on October 17 for network maintenance work by Virgin Media.

The closure will be in place from 6am, between Allan Street and the A89 Bank Street, with drivers urged to use the B753 Dundyvan Road, the A725 Whifflet Street and Old Monkland Road as diversions.

Meanwhile, a Glenboig road is shutting for four days next month for carriageway resurfacing works.

Yetts Hole Road will be closed between Muirdyke Road and Burnlip Road from 9.30am on November 8 until 6pm on November 12.

Drivers will be able to use the latter two roads as diverted routes, while pedestrian access will be “permitted where practical” for the duration of the roadworks.
