Caroline Lucas shares powerful message for those upset by general election result

This morning it was announced that the Conservatives had won the general election .

The party, led by Boris Johnson , won a huge majority, with their rivals Labour getting their worst result since 1935.

The Green Party also had a terrible night, only winning one seat in Parliament.

But the winner of that one seat, Caroline Lucas, hasn't lost hope that things can still get better in the future.

The former leader of the Greens has shared a powerful message on social media today for all of those who are unhappy with the way the election turned out.
