Caroline Flack has finally finished her four-day celebration of her 40th birthday and has shown her appreciation to her boyfriend as well as her fans.
The 40-year-old TV presenter shared a cosy snap of her looking cosy with her new beau, Lewis Burton, before sharing the news that she would be spending time apart from him.
The former tennis professional made sure that Caroline's birthday celebrations were unforgettable, with the Flack declaring it the "most gorgeous weekend ever," in an Instagram post.
The words captioned black and white pic of her cuddling up to Lewis before she revealed that a trip to South Africa beckoned.
Posting a pic of a red booklet, which was embossed with 'The Boss', Caroline wrote: "Very grateful for my bday gift from my love island team … will be taking it to Capetown this week for promo [sic]."
With the birthday weekend finally coming to an end, Caroline shared one last word on the last few days, thanking her friends and fans.
The Love Island host wrote: "I know I haven’t stopped talking about my birthday but I want you to know your direct messages haven’t gone unread. Grateful for everyone of you who sent such loveliness.
"I’ve only just got home from Friday … so thank you for being so kind … I'll stop talking about it now."
The birthday weekend began with Caroline's boyfriend Lewis playfully trolling her over their 13-year age gap.
The 27-year-old model rung in his girlfriend's 40th birthday with her and her string of A-list pals at a flashy London restaurant on Friday.
In a series of hilarious Instagram stories, the Lewis paid tribute to his Love Island host girlfriend when the glittering night unfolded.
Lewis jokingly added 50 years to Caroline as he wished her happy 90th birthday.
The model then joked his stunning love didn't look a day over 70.
He wrote over snaps of the party: "Happy 90th baby."
Lewis added: "Not really you don't look a day over 70."
