Caroline Flack's mum insists no pictures were shared from her funeral or wake

Caroline Flack 's mum has insisted no pictures were shared from her funeral or wake earlier this month.

The late telly presenter's close friends and family gathered in her native Norfolk last week to say farewell following her death last month aged 40.

Caroline's mother Chris has now shared details of the funeral service and the wake, which was held at a nearby pub.

She revealed all phones were banned from the private gathering, and insisted no pictures were shared by anyone that attended.

Chris told the Eastern Daily Press : "All online activity was stopped for the day with no phones seen anywhere at the service or the wake.

"No photos have been posted of that day by anyone actually at the wake and I thank every one for respecting the family's wishes."

It comes after several snaps, which appeared to be from Caroline's wake, appeared online.

Two hundred family and friends from all over the world went to Greenacres at Colney, near Norwich, to say goodbye to the presenter.

The memorial commemorating Caroline took place in a venue set in 16 acres set in an enchanting forest.

Celeb pals from her time on Fash FC, I'm A Celebrity, Xtra Factor and Love Island also were among the guest list.

The beautiful service for the TV host lasted nearly two hours.

Her mother gave an insight into the tear-jerking ceremony where family and friends remembered Caroline for the joy she had given them over the years.

Chris told the EDP: "There were lots of memories, smiles but mostly tears as we all remembered Carrie and the joy she had brought to all of our lives.

"All the family would like to say thank you so much to all Carrie's friends who travelled from all over the world to be there that day and who appreciated why we wanted to bring her back home to Norfolk.

"Friends included all the old pals she had either worked alongside or presented with on Fash FC, I'm A Celebrity, Xtra Factor, Love Island, friends old and new from the world of Strictly, the Bake Off and many many more."

Chris added everyone had the chance to share their stories about Caroline from her schooldays, college days and present day.

All the family had chosen to wear T-shirts for charity made by the late star's friend Keith Lemon.

Caroline Flack was found dead at her home in London on February 15.

She's believed to have taken her own life days after it was confirmed her trial over an alleged assault on Burton was going ahead.

She was charged with assault by beating after a row at her London flat with her boyfriend.

Caroline pleaded not guilty and her boyfriend always maintained her innocence.
