Caroline Flack's BFF pines for late star in lockdown as she shares unseen snap

Caroline Flack's BFF Mollie Grosberg pined for her late friend in lockdown.

It's been two months since the former Love Island star took her own life aged 40 at her north London flat just weeks before she was due to stand trial.

Her TV producer BFF longed for her friend in lockdown in an outpouring on social media as she paid tribute to the star.

In the accompanying photo, Caroline had thrown her arms around Mollie's neck as the girls pressed their faces together.

Mollie said she thinks about her best friend every day before she has even opened her eyes in a heartbreaking note.

She wrote: "The best and most silliest girl. Miss her xxx I can’t believe it’s been two months. Think about this girl every morning when I wake up before I even open my eyes."

In conversation with friends, Mollie also revealed she wished Caroline was keeping her company during the UK lockdown.

The TV producer said her friend would have offered the comfort and solace they needed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

In the comments, she wrote: "I wish we had her here for lockdown. She'd absolutely love it and just make everything OK for us."

Mollie has been isolating with her boyfriend at their flat.

They also have the company of Caroline's dog Ruby whom they adopted after the tragic death of the star.

Before lockdown, 200 of Caroline's close family and friends gathered to give her a special send off.

Her magical memorial was held in a forest where everyone was able to say their final goodbyes to the star, including her boyfriend Lewis Burton.
