Caroline Flack's best friend Lou Teasdale shares final photo in tribute to tragic star

Celebrity hair stylist and best friend of Caroline Flack, Lou Teasdale, has shared an emotional post on social media in memory of her "beautiful friend".

Taking to Instagram, the star shared a recent snap of her with tragic Caroline, who was found dead at her flat this weekend.

Sharing a selfie of the pair together, Lou wrote: "Here’s us like 5 days ago really happy lolling telling each other we’re really fit AND funny and 5 years ago, and 10 years ago. I love you. I hope you are at peace now.

"Til the end my beautiful friend, Caroline x"

The selfie was shared in a carousel post of images throughout the duo's 10-year friendship.

It currently has more than 94K likes and hundreds of comments.

Makeup artist Justine Jenkins said: "Sending you love & light Lou [heart emoji]."

Radio broadcaster Zoe Hardman said: "So much love to you Lou [three heart emojis] xx"

Caroline, who was due back in court on March 4 after pleading not guilty to assault by beating following an alleged incident with her boyfriend Lewis Burton at her flat back in December, was found dead at her flat in East London on Saturday.

Lou had alerted the star's father of her concerns for Caroline's safety, which led to him visiting her home and discovering her body.

The devastating news was confirmed by her family in a statement.

The family statement said: "We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today, the 15th of February.

"We would ask that the press respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time and we would ask they make no attempt to contact us and/or photograph us."

An ITV spokeswoman said: "Everybody at Love Island and ITV is shocked and saddened by this desperately sad news.

"Caroline was a much loved member of the Love Island team and our sincere thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends."

Since the TV presenter's death, it has emerged Caroline wasn't taken to hospital when she was given a clinical assessment by paramedics at her flat on Valentine's Day.
