Caroline Flack is the face of Love Island and has enjoyed a hugely successful presenting career.
But the 39-year-old has revealed how she nearly gave it all up for a man.
She admitted that she didn't want her ex boyfriend to break up with her and offered to stop working to make him stay.
In the end the ex, who she didn't name, left her anyway and she carried on TV presenting.
Speaking on Kathy Burke's All Woman last night, Caz said: "There has been a point where I did say the words 'I'll stop working, don't leave me' because he was gonna leave.
"And I said to myself, why am I saying that? You're sacrificing everything you do for him, because I really don't want him to go, I don't want him to leave but he left.
"Thank god I didn't give up my job."
Caroline admitted that she never wanted the "fairytale" romance or had any desire to settle down.
But she confessed she felt "guilty" about not wanting a traditional happy ending.
She added: "I've never got to that point yet and I'm scared it's gonna get too late where I've wanted to go 'Right, maybe slow down, think about having kids and maybe think about settling down' but I've never had that, that's never been wired into me.
"It's really strange, I feel guilty for it sometimes, maybe I'm being selfish."
But she thinks that being single is a powerful thing for a woman to be.
Caroline said: "Being single shouldn't be seen as a sign of weakness, when you're on your own you're more powerful because you're not relying on someone else."
She is currently dating professional tennis player Lewis Burton, 27.
The telly host previously dated 17-year-old Harry Styles when she was 31.
Caroline split from rugby star Danny Cipriani in June and was engaged to former Apprentice contestant Andrew Brady last year.
