Caroline Flack has confirmed when Love Island 2019 will officially start

Many of us have been counting down the days until it returns to our screens - and now a start date for this year's series of Love Island has been officially announced.

Earlier today Caroline Flack posted a video on her Instagram confirming the date when the hit reality show will return to ITV.

The Liverpool Echo reports the 39-year-old former model video captioned the video saying: "And off we go", with a heart and palm tree emoji.

The video shows Caroline on a lilo in a pool, with the hashtag #daydotiscoming and the date Monday 3rd June on ITV2.

Iain Stirling is the voiceover on the video and says: "Daydot is coming, Monday 3rd June on ITV." with the iconic Love Island music at the end."

And fans were quick to share their excitement on the post , with many tagging their friends in.

One said: "I will be unavailable for the foreseeable future."

Another said: "Can't wait to watch this every single night."

And a third said:" I’m soooo excited."

Host Caroline has been sharing lots of behind the scene pictures and videos, but the start date for the show hasn't been released until now.
