Caroline Flack fans moved by beautiful London Underground tribute to late star

Caroline Flack fans have been moved by a special tribute to the late star on the London Underground.

Former Love Island host Caroline was tragically found dead at her home last Saturday after taking her own life. She was just 40 years old.

Tonight, the Love Island final was dedicated to Caroline's memory.

As the final got underway, host Laura Whitmore, a long-time friend of Caroline took a moment to talk about her friend.

Choking up as she spoke, Laura said the final was dedicated to Caroline, who "loved Love Island and loved love".

The tragic star was celebrated and remembered in a montage of clips of her on the show and its spin-off Aftersun over the years.

But it wasn't the only special tribute to Caroline.

All on the board, who write original poems and inspirational quotes on boards on display within the Underground system, dedicated one to Caroline.

Alongside her name and the years "1979 - 2000", it read: "As the sun sets on an island of love, You will shine on forever in a paradise above;

"Nobody will forget you, your personality, your walk and your infectious laugh, Your departure has left so many hearts broken in half.

"May your ocean be calm, may there be no storm, For eternity may there be no storm, For eternity may you be happy and the light forever keep you warm;

"May Heaven be as beautiful as you, May you find true peace of mind, There is no solution for your confusion, But, we need to always be kind."

The poem made reference to a meme Caroline had shared on Instagram before her death, that read: "In a world where you can be anything, be kind".

Fans were moved by it.

One commented: "Just perfect"

Another wrote: "Wow!!! Those words hit me in the heart but they’re beautiful words for a beautiful woman!"

"Rest In Peace Caroline," a third replied.

While another wrote: Made me cry, perfect and so true."
