Caroline Flack: Emotional tributes paid as star dead at 40

Touching tributes have been paid to Caroline Flack following the tragic news of her death.

The TV star, who shot to fame with ITV's Love Island, was found dead in her home on Valentine's Day.

She was 40 years old and had made a career in both acting and presenting.

High profile fan Piers Morgan tweeted Piers Morgan said: "Oh my God. This is horrendous."

Love Island star Chris Hughes said: "Words can’t sum this up. So sad. Another amazing person taking from this cruel world. When will people and and press release celebrities are humans, with the same feelings everyone else has. Can't believe to imagine the pain. God bless Caroline and her family. Rest tight."

Corrie's Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt, said: "Absolutely devastating to hear the news about Caroline Flack. My thoughts are with her family."

Antony Cotton said: "I feel physically sick. Poor, poor girl."

Calum Best said: "So incredibly sad."

And Myleene Klass tweeted: "Completely shocked by the news. @carolineflack1 I hope you’ve found your peace x RIP.
