Caroline Flack has been arrested and charged with assault.
The Love Island host has been charged with assault by beating at the London home she shares with boyfriend Lewis Burton.
Police have confirmed that the 40-year-old, who also hosted The X Factor as well as winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2014, was arrested after an incident in the early hours of Thursday morning.
A Met Police spokesperson told the Daily Star : " Caroline Flack, 40, of Islington was charged on Friday, 13 December with assault by beating.
"This follows an incident at approximately 05:25hrs on Thursday, 12 December after reports of a man being assaulted. He was not seriously injured."
A man, who is believed to be 27-year-old tennis player Lewis, was treated for injuries.
Just last week Caroline sent ripples of excitement through Love Island fans across the country as she appeared in the first official trailer for Winter Love Island, which is set to debut on itv2 in January.
She has been at the helm of the show since it made its debut on the channel in 2015.
