TV presenter Laura Whitmore, who is dating Love Island voiceover Iain Stirling, has stepped up to replace her on the series.

Caroline graciously wished Laura good luck on social media and ITV bosses have said they have left the door open for her to return to the summer series.

It is not yet known whether Caroline will make a comeback to Love Island.

Winter Love Island will air on January 12 with TV bosses claiming the delay in the initial start date had nothing to do with Caroline's arrest.
