Carolina’s Vernon Butler got ejected after ugly play and then flipped off the crowd

The Carolina Panthers and Indianapolis Colts are playing in a meaningless game on Sunday and apparently Vernon Butler didn’t want to stick around to see how it ended.

The Panthers defensive end was ejected just two minutes into the second half after he slammed a Colts offensive lineman headfirst into Jack Doyle’s head. If that wasn’t ugly enough, Butler sealed his fate by then throwing a punch at the Colts tight end, who had to be wondering what the heck was going on.

Butler then flipped off the crowd on his way to the locker room, because how else could this thing end?
