The Bills continue to take pieces from the Panthers as they try to build a contender in the AFC East. The latest example of the Carolina-to-Buffalo connection is Eric Washington, who has just been hired as the Bills’ defensive line coach.
Washington has served as the defensive coordinator for the Panthers over the last two seasons. However, Ron Rivera was the one calling the defensive plays for the last month of 2018 and most of this year.
While his work as DC did not earn a lot of praise, Washington is renowned for what he can do with a defensive line.
