The Carolina Hurricanes have a great sense of humor, as they’ve shown ever since legendary hockey commentator Don Cherry called them a “bunch of jerks” earlier this year because of their postgame celebrations.
Apparently Cherry is against having a little fun after a win.
But thankfully the Hurricanes refused to allow Cherry’s stance to change the way they live their hockey lives.
Because they’ve rallied around the “jerks” label and are now looking to take a 3-0 series lead over the New York Islanders in the second round of the playoffs tonight in Raleigh.
And the team found a perfect way to set up the arena for Game 3:
