With the autumn upon us and cooler weather setting in, it seems that Carol Vorderman is clinging onto the summer sunshine - and warm weather - as she enjoys some time away from the UK's darkening evenings on a health break.
Posing in a crop top from Hollywood socialite and media personality Kim Kardashian's shapewear line, SKIMS, Carol showed off her figure in some gym clothes. Smiling at the camera in a camel-coloured crop top and ombre purple and pink gym leggings, Carol updated her fans on her whereabouts and what she was getting up to on her "short health/gym break".
Taking to Instagram, the Welsh presenter and former Countdown host wrote alongside a series of images: "A short health/gym break in a bit of sunshine....am getting obsessed with @skims....by @kimkardashian. This crop top for gym is SOOOO comfy...."

The 62-year-old went on to explain what she's been doing while away: "Doing loads of stretching and weights and having a great time. Home soon xx"
Fans were quick to comment on Carol's picture, admiring her sunkissed look and svelte figure.
Christine McGuinness wrote, alongside a fire emoji: "I am obsessed with @skims ", alongside Ian 'H' Watkins from Steps, who commented simply with two raised hand and two flame emojis.
User @amal.morgan wrote: "Looking fantastic xxx" alongside @nickynacky24, who commented on the picture: "You look fab Carol...refreshed."
Carol is known for her love of fitness - over the summer she attended a fitness retreat on which she dropped "over a dress size" and recently posted a video to her Instagram in which she spoke of two fitness stars she'd been following for her workouts recently.
In the video, she is seen sporting a khaki green, zipped up sports top ahead of a 25-minute workout. The caption read: "Been working out a lot online and really enjoying it. @sarahwillingham recommended two You tube fitness stars to me. I love the stuff from Juice and Toyah @toyacherrelle @juicetontx. Excellent. Sweaty Kettlebell session next for me. Ps also learning the splits. Doing well xx"
This post followed almost a two-week social media silence from Carol who, it seems, refrained from posting as the country mourned the loss of Britain's longest reigning Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. Her last post was a video which showed Michael Sheen's mesmerzing and goosebump-inducing speech for the Wales v England World Cup on A League of Their Own.
